Meet The Team

Bernadette – Office Manager

Bernadette looks forward to welcoming you to The Schiff & Moniz Dental Group with a warm smile and some friendly conversation. She has worked in dentistry for over 20 years. Some of you may remember her from Dr. Rothbart’s dental practice before they moved up Bethlehem Pike to work with Dr. Schiff.

Bernadette is a lifelong Philadelphian who you can find cheering for Philadelphia sports teams and frequenting the shops in Chestnut Hill. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially her granddaughter Claire and her granddogs, Jack and Hank.

Kristen – Registered Dental Hygienist

Kristen has been in the dental field for over 22 years, 21 of which have been with The Schiff & Moniz Dental Group. Originally a dental assistant, she graduated from Manor College Dental Hygiene program 14 years ago. Outside of the office you can find Kristen gardening, weight lifting, and spending time with her hubby, Mark, and their rescue dog, Mochi.

Karen – Registered Dental Hygienist

Karen has been a dental hygienist for 34 years, 24 of which have been with The Schiff & Moniz Dental Group. She received her dental hygiene degree from Montgomery County Community College, and a degree in science education from Bloomsburg University. Karen is passionate about her job and loves talking about teeth and helping patients improve their dental health. She is married and has one son, Greg, who is 24 and in the Navy Reserve.

Sue – Registered Dental Hygienist

Sue began her dental career in 1986 as a dental assistant working with Dr. Schiff. In 1996, she graduated from Harcum College with her degree in dental hygiene. Later than year she reconnected with Dr. Schiff and has been working at The Schiff & Moniz Dental Group ever since. Sue resides in King of Prussia with her husband and two children. In her free time she enjoys reading, watching sports, and spending time with her family.

Jacquelyn – Registered Dental Hygienist

Jaquelyn has been a dental hygienist for 19 years, and has been with The Schiff & Moniz Dental Group since 2003. Outside of the office she has 3 wonderful kids who keep her busy with sports. Jacquelyn’s hobbies include building furniture, crafting, and exercising.

Linda – Registered Dental Hygienist

Linda has been in the dental field since 1990, starting out as a dental assistant in general dentistry and orthodontics. She went on to study dental hygiene at Montgomery County Community College, where she earned her degree in 2000. She has been with The Schiff & Moniz Dental Group for 21 years. Linda is dedicated to educating her patient’s on homecare and knowing that good oral hygiene is vital for overall health.

Linda lives in Bala Cynwd with her husband, Ted. Outside of the office she enjoys skiing, going to their farmhouse outside of Gettysburg, and spending time relaxing with family and friends.

Dina – Dental Assistant

Dina graduated from Delaware Valley Academy with her Dental Assistant Certification/CPR certification, and Dental Radiology certification in the summer of 2007. She started working at The Schiff & Moniz Dental Group that fall assisting the Perio-Prosth and Pediatric doctors. Dina has a 6 year old daughter, Gabriella, and together they enjoy nature walks and going to the beach any chance they get.

Rebecca – Registered Dental Hygienist

Rebecca graduated from Manor College with an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She is working towards getting her Master’s degree in Health Sciences to teach future dental hygiene students as a clinical instructor. She specializes in high anxiety patients and adolescents. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys painting, drawing, creative writing, and making jewelry.

Jen – Dental Assistant

Jen has been a dental assistant with The Schiff & Moniz Dental Group for over 14 years. Jen lives in Hatfield, and outside of the office enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and daughter, Taylor. She also loves going to rock concerts.

Cindy – Patient Coordinator

Cindy started working in dentistry in 1972. She has been at The Schiff & Moniz Dental Group for 24 years, and started the same day as our hygienist, Karen! She feels blessed to have worked in the dental field all these years and looks forward to greeting you at the office.

Darrin– Front Desk/Assistant

With the pandemic being a turning point for many, the arrival of our newest Patient Service Representative Darrin Johnson, brings over a decade of customer service experience to our practice. Darrin has a degree in culinary arts and enjoys baking, reading and painting in his free time. You may even see some of his artwork around the office.
